turtleskinz is proud to introduce to you the new GyroShell. Yes, it looks like a turtle shell, so we coined it the GyroShell.
The GyroShell is a unique product that fits snugly over your gyro and will help protect it against damage.
The GyroShell is molded to each specific Gyro, so there is always a perfect, snug fit.
To address mounting, the GyroShell has molded tabs, that will accommodate up to 3/4 inch wide Velcro straps. (note, these tabs can be easily removed if desired) You can still use double sided tape, but is not required.
For those who wish to completely enclose their gyro, a simple dab or two of RTV will seal the gyro in place, for even further protection.

Directions for use |
|
|
- Wipe down the GyroShell to remove any packaging material or mold release.
- Remove any foam or velcro from the bottom of your gyro sensor.
- Slide the GyroShell over your gyro sensor.
- When inserting your gyro, DO NOT hold onto the cable for leverage!
- Insert a velcro strap through the side tabs, to fasten the gyro to your helicopter.
- If you wish to glue, or tape the GyroShell into place, wipe both surfaces clean prior.
